Croydon Fireplaces have been established for over 60 years established by Mr James Burt on the 4th July 1952. Mr Burt’s son, Chris took over his farther’s company and on the 4th of July 2014 exactly 62 years after Mr Burt established the business Mr Ben Giddings took the company over and moved the premises down from Croydon to the Head Quarters of Milborrow Chimney Sweeps.
Mr Ben Giddings, father Mr Kevin Giddings is the proprietor of Milborrow Chimney Sweeps which is a business he has built from a one man band to the largest chimney sweeping company in England with two Royal Warrants to Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales. Ben was brought up in the business since he was large enough to be shoved up the chimney!! Ben now runs Milborrow's in Partnership with his father.

We have accounts with over 45 leading manufactures in the industry including Premier Dealer accounts and Authorised Expert Retailers and similar. Distinguishing us over the competition and distributing to smaller companies nationwide.
Did you know we keep a large stock of stoves at times over 400 stove’s in stock in our vast warehousing and storage areas this puts us ahead of the competition to keep up with the winter rush and manufacturers backlog enabling us to offer the shortest delivery times on all our products.
We can offer supply of appliances and surrounds including bespoke and all materials to a full fitting service from fireplaces and hearths to full false chimney breasts and pre fabricated chimney systems. All our installers recommended through our Sister Company Milborrow Chimney Sweeps are HETAS Qualified, we also have Gas Safe Registration and a City and Guilds Master Bricklayer and Stonemason available for all your requirements.
